Workshops
Right event, right now: a founder’s guide to picking events that actually move the needle
Startups burn through a lot of time and money on events that don’t serve their stage, audience, or actual goals. This workshop helps founders and early marketing leads make smarter, more intentional decisions about where and how to show up, so every event drives real progress instead of vanity metrics (or tumbleweeds).
It’s not about learning how to run an event, it’s about choosing the right one. Together, we’ll unpack the event landscape, match goals to formats, and build a framework you can use again and again to make clear, confident choices. You’ll walk away with a one-page Event Choice Brief, a working ROI hypothesis, and the confidence to say yes only when it counts.
This session is built for founders and heads of marketing at founder-stage to Series A startups, and also offered as a VC portfolio intensive for groups of 10–20 founders who want to sharpen their strategy for the next quarter.
Formats:
- Live online (2-3 hours, split into 2 sessions, with homework in between)
- In person (single session, 3.5–4 hours)
- VC portfolio session (2.5 hours online or 3.5 hours in person, plus optional office hours per company)
If you’re ready to stop chasing every conference and start choosing events that actually move the needle, get in touch and let’s make it happen.
